The CFMoto Papio CL 126 is a standout in the Mini-Moto world, with eye-catching design and style that sets it apart. Its double LED headlights feature an X and O pattern, giving it a youthful, urban vibe. The CL’s body lines resemble a scrambler, showcasing its versatility. We were eager to get our hands on one, and when CFMoto gave us the chance, we jumped at it!

Project SGPAPIO02 was built to show enthusiasts how simple bolt-on parts can transform the look of the Papio CL. Keeping its scrambler roots, we teamed up with Kenda Tires to equip it with the rugged Big Block Adventure K784 tires—some of the toughest available for Mini-Motos. To make it more unique, we custom-fitted a set of Chimera Engineering 3-piece modular rims. Not only do they look fantastic, but they also allow easy replacement of any singledamaged barrels from off-road adventures.

For better performance and sound, we installed a Yoshimura RS-9T undertail Slip-On exhaust, which improved engine airflow and gave the Papio a quick-revving, deep single-cylinder thumper sound. Our friend Felix gave the body panels a custom Volvo Yellow paint job, perfectly paired with a custom seat by Roger at Rogelio’s Auto Upholstery.

We added every accessory we could to elevate this project, from the Chimera Engineeringste speedometer bezel and fork caps to a prototype skid plate, rear hugger fender, and chain guard. We didn’t stop there! A pair of Anchor Brake 2 piston brake calipers were added thanks to the Chimera Engineering Brake caliper brackets that allowed an easy peasy bolt on to improve the stopping performance. The SGPAPIO02 is the perfect blend of style and fun, making it a blast for anyone to ride!
