This system is available in a satin stainless-steel finish and comes with not one but two heat shields. One in stainless steel, at the header to help guard the rider, and one made of carbon fiber to guard the passenger. Weight for this system comes in at 6.4 lbs, with a decibel rating of 93dB @ 3750 RPM.
This product was designed specifically for your US spec. bike. Yoshimura R&D is the only authorized distributor in North America for their sister companies Yoshimura Japan (YJP) and Yoshimura Asia (YAT). Yoshimura R&D work with YJP/YAT to develop and test components that are less restricted versions than the choked-down systems which are required for more restrictive marketplaces like Japan and Europe. This imported product is specially configured for our marketplace and is not available in any other marketplace. In other words, you’re getting a custom exhaust made for the US market.
