Chimera Engineering Oil Cooler Block - Honda Grom 125, Honda Monkey 125 (2022+)

Achieve a significant reduction in the engine temperature of the 2022+ 5 Speed Grom/Monkey engine by using the Chimera Engineering oil cooler block. This block can be used alone or in conjunction with an external oil cooler. It replaces the OEM oil filter cap and relocates the oil filter to the billet aluminum block. The Chimera cooler block utilizes the high-pressure feed port directly in front of the oil pump, making it a highly effective oil cooler. Even without an external oil cooler, using the cooler block alone can decrease engine temperature by 10-15%. Adding an external oil cooler would result in further reduction in engine temperature.

Available Top Cover Colors: Black, Blue, Grey, Red, Silver, or Yellow.

The block housing color is only available in Black.

 CONTENT:

• 1x Chimera Oil Cooler Housing
• 1x Chimera Top Cover
• 1x Chimera Internal bypass tube
• M6 hardware

OPTIONS:

• USING BLOCK ONLY option will included two M10x1.25mm plugs to cap the external cooler fitting holes (+$9.99)
• USING EXTERNAL COOLER option will NOT included the two plugs since a banjo bolt and fitting will be in place of the external fitting holes.

NOTE: This SKU # is only for the oil cooler block, it does not include an external oil cooler, lines, or bracket. The reference photos shows the Chimera Oil Cooler Block paired up with a Kitaco Oil Cooler Kit. If you're using the oil cooler block by itself, please select the USING BLOCK ONLY option so that the plugs will be included to cap off the external oil port holes.

Installation Information:

• Direct bolt on over the factory oil filter cover.
• Relocates the oil filter into the cooler housing, the oil filter will be installed backwards into the housing (oil filter springs goes in first, then the oil filter backward from the original location).
• Install the bypass tube into the old oil filter location, which will plumb oil to the top cover. 
• Follow instructions on the Chimera Top Cover for plugging information (no external vs. external oil cooler).
